Great Question, Upon your intake you will be assigned a case manager by administration based on case load and availability.
Great question! I can think of 1,000 reasons! There are many reasons to participate with the PAL Program. The major reason is for the benefits! By attending life skills training classes while you’re still in care, you not only get information and skills you will need when you become an adult, but you become eligible to receive a transitional living allowance. Currently this allowance is $1,000 dollars payable in payments not to exceed $500 dollars per month.
As all companies and organizations do, we have polices and regulations. These P&R’s must be followed at all times until you are no longer eligible for the organization. You agree to these terms upon completion of your GCF Intake. We can suspend and/or terminate you from our organization If our policies and regulations are being disregarded.
Good idea! Individuals who graduate or have a GED earn more money. Individuals who go to college make even more money. Email firstname.lastname@example.org and/or contact your assigned GCF Case Manager and we can get you into the correct educational program, and in many cases, cover the expense.
You will no longer be permitted to request/receive any new additional assistance. We will cover your lease until the end of it‘s term but we will not cover the expenses for a renewal but we can refer you to other organizations who could help if needed.
Definitely, We have a housing assistance program, if you qualify we would cover your rent/utilities with the funds donated by our awesome donors.

TRUE! Youth who aged out of the Texas foster care system can receive a tuition waiver to attend any PUBLIC supported school in Texas, if they apply before the age of 25. With additional financial aid to help with other expenses, that means it’s FREE!
Unfortunately, Here at GCF we only offer these programs & Services for former foster youth ages 18-25. This is an organization our CEO/FOUNDER is truly passionate about.
However, we’ll definitely be happy to refer if needed to companies/organizations who could help
